2024 Farmers Market

This year promises to be a fun year for the market with a variety of community tables and events. Rosefest is scheduled for June 22 and we have lots of request for an encore Renaissance Fare on August 31. Conveniently located off W. Raspberry Street between 8th and 9th Avenue and in the Bethlehem Rose Garden Park, there is lots of free parking, although many patrons walk or bike in. Dates: Saturday, June 1 to Saturday, October 12 (9AM to 1 PM).

In 2024–We have two opening days of entertainment and great food:
Saturday, June 1 with The Emmaus Music Group.  And, Saturday, June 18 with the Nitschmann Middle School dramatics. If you don’t see your favorite vendor on the first opening day, be sure to come back on the second. And, of course, you don’t want to miss Rose Fest on June 22.

It has been 9 years since we first started the Farmers Market, and it has grown each year. This year will have approximately two dozen vendors and community tables each week (some vendors come every other week). For 2024 the BRGFM will offer  a variety of baked goods. jams, micro-greens, honey and other specialty products. Most of our favorite vendors from last year will be back; we also have a new mushroom vendor, peanut butter, and fruited wine.  Make a point of visiting our craft vendors for your home or as great gifts for others: hand-crafted cheese boards, specialty soaps, and jewelry. We  carry a number of crafts: women’s and children’s clothing, soaps, and candles.  NEW THIS YEAR:  pop-up vendors with one of a kind baked goods and specialty caterers will be at the market throughout the summer with new ideas for your weekly menus. And our vendors are always open to hearing your suggestions: Wanderer coffee will be bringing a Latte bar later. Frick Farms will be accepting Senior coupons.

Do plan on staying in the park as part of your weekly outing; there is lots going on.  Take a break from shopping and have breakfast or lunch in the park! The historic Rose Garden in the park is a must see. Kids can play on the activity lawn while you shop. There are even activities for your dog (leashed please)–Lisa, our dog biscuit vendor has a fun agility set-up for our furry friends.

Looking for volunteers: The market runs thanks to our dedicated volunteers. If you would like to organize a kids activity or are part of a band that can play, do consider jumping in. And, if you can be a substitute market manager for a week or two, it would be greatly appreciated.
