100 Trees For 100 Years

As part of the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Bethlehem, MANA is launching  a three stage tree replacement initiative in collaboration with Bethlehem Backyards for Wildlife and the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The project: For the 1st stage we applied for and received a $10,000 grant from TD Bank (TD Green Streets Grant) and the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 100 trees in the City Parks, 40 of which will be planted in the 3 West Side parks. Tree tending and care workshops, tree walks , and other educational programs are all part of the grant.
